Excellency President, dear brother in Abrahamic Faith,
I call you my brother, because we believe in the Prophethood of Hazrat Moses Alaihissalam which is testified by the Last Prophet of Allah i.e. Hazrat Muhammad Ibn Abdullah Sallallaho Alaihissalam.
We are the closest and the most compassionate kin of Bani Israel. We have learnt form the Last Revealed Scripture of Allah i.e. The Holy Quran, about the inhuman sufferings inflicted on Bani Israel by Pharaoh. We are definitely partisan of Prophet Hazrat Moses Alsihissalam and his pious & obedient followers amongst Bani Israel. We are completely against Pharaoh and the oppressors like Pharaoh whom we treat to be enemies of Allah and of His Prophets.
Allah Says us in the Holy Quran :
" The apostle believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers ; they all believe in Allah and His angels and His books and His apostles ; We make no difference between any of His apostles: and they say : We hear and obey, our Lord ! Thy forgiveness (do we crave) , and to Thee is the end of all journeys."- (The Holy Quran 2 : 285, Sura Baqarah, Verse No.285).
Allah says in the Holy Quran :
"O people ! be careful of (your duty to) your Lord, Who created you from a single being (Adam) and created his mate (Eve) of the same (kind) and spread from these two many men and women ; and be careful of (your duty to ) Allah, by whom you demand one of the another (your rights) , and (to) the ties of relationship ; surely Allah ever watches over you." (The Quran 4:1 Sura Nisa, Verse No.1)
Therefore, all pious Muslims believe in One Allah, His angels, His books, His apostles ; pious Muslims do not make difference between apostles of Allah ; pious Muslims are modest and they beg forgiveness of Allah ; pious Muslims believe that Allah created mankind from a single pair of parents, i.e. Hazrat Adam Aslaihissalam and his wife Hazrat Eve Alaihissalam - thus the mankind is the progeny of Adam and Eve and are related to each other by blood. Pious Muslims do not believe in the atheistic hypothesis of evolution regarding origin of man which propagates the basis of discrimination i.e. man was originated in different races.
Pious Muslims are inherently non-arrogant, modest and compassionate. It is for the sake of Allah only that they sometime become hard. In fact All apostles of Allah and believers including Hazrat Moses Alaihissalam and his pious followers are Muslims. Islam means surrendering to Allah. Muslim means who has surrendered to Allah. Muslims are neither any race nor any tribe nor any ethnic community. Last apostle of Allah i.e. Prophet Muhammad Ibn Abdullah Sallallaho Alaihissalam was brotherly and compassionate to the Jewish people. But unfortunately some of his neighboring Jews turned to be the enemies of Allah. He was required by Allah to be hard to the enemies of Allah.
Divine Revelation in Sura Maidah (V) of the Holy Quran :-
" Verse - 20. And when Musa said to his people : O my people ! remember the favor of Allah upon you when He raised prophets among you and made you kings and gave you what He had not given to any other among the nations. "
" Verse - 21. O my people ! enter the holy land which Allah has prescribed for you and turn not on your backs for then you will turn back losers."
" Verse - 24. They said : O Musa ! we shall never enter it so long as they are in it; go therefore you and your Lord, then fight you both, surely we will here sit down."
" Verse - 25. He (Musa) said : My Lord ! surely I have no control (upon any) but my own self and my brother ; therefore make a separation between us and the nation of transgressors. " (The Holy Quran, Sura Maidah, Sura No.5 )
Kindly verify above facts from your own sources and Rabbi. The way the State of Israel was created by wiping out indigenous population of Palestine, is not justifiable even in accordance with the principles of the prevailing Western Civilization and its institutions - while the western civilization and its institutions owes largely its existence and promotion to our Jewish brethren. It is a contradiction. It is highly irrational.
Nevertheless, realities on the ground have been accepted by the Palestinians as well as by the neighboring states. Then by what Commandment of the Ten Commandments you are denying the inalienable rights of your Muslim and Christian fellows to have a separate Palestinian homeland ?
Let there be light. Let there be peace. Let again the exalted place of Jerusalem be upheld.

Your Excellency may not be aware of the following:-
-Twenty per cent of the State of Israel are Arabs – ninety per cent of them being Muslims – who are full citizens of the State of Israel.
- Israel's Declaration of Independence 1. affirms equality of rights for non-Jews – a position energetically defended by the Israeli courts and 2. calls on the Arab states to live in peace with her .
- Israeli leaders called on the Arab population not to leave their homes in the build up and during the fighting of 1948.
-In 1967 Israel sent a letter via the US to King Hussein urging him not to join Egypt and Syria in trying to exterminate Israel. Hussein ignored this warning and lost control of East Jerusalem and the West Bank as a result. Israel did not force Arab residents to flee – this was their (misguided) choice (substantially fueled by anti-Jewish propaganda.).
- Israel's first president Chaim Weizman signed a concordat of cooperation with the Emir Feisal as leader of the Arab world in 1919. Most Arab nations ignored this and launched hostilities and then war against Israel which led to the tragedy of Palestinian displaced persons.
These points make it clear that Israel has never sought to wipe out any population in the Holy Land/mandatory Palestine, but has sought and seeks to live in peace with them and guaranteeing that in its own society, all are equal before the law and equality of franchise, regardless of religion or race.
As far as a Palestinian state is concerned, the goal of establishing such ( a two states solution) is the official policy of the State of Israel, for which it withdrew at the time from the territories in the West Bank under the Oslo accords. Unfortunately, Palestinian violence forced Israel to reoccupy much of these. If the Palestinians will recognize Israel and cease violent acts against its citizens, they will gain their legitimate aspiration for a state (which is actually in the interests of the State of Israel as well.)

Assalamu Alaikum.
H.E. Chief Rabbi David Rosen, KCSG, International Director of Inter-religious Affairs, American Jewish Committee and President of the International Jewish Committee for Interreligious Consultations, sent us a reply presenting Israeli position in response to our call for agreeing the inalienable rights of the Palestinians to have a separate viable homeland and to uphold the exalted place of Jerusalem.
Earlier we had a series of correspondence and consultation with Dr. Richard L. Benkin (Special Advisor to Intelligence Summit on Bangladesh Affairs) of American Jewish Committee (AJC). We had 3 rounds of meeting with him when he visited Dhaka last January. He sought our support for removal of ban on travel to Israel and subsequently for Bangladesh-Israel diplomatic relation. We told him, if Israel retreats to 1948 borders and agrees to joint administration of Jerusalem by friendly Muslims-Christians-Jewish clerics, we agree to recognize the State of Israel. Unless we know the territory and boundary of Israel and unless the status and administration of Jerusalem is agreed, it is difficult for Islamic parties and activists to recognize Israel.
Moreover, the sort of God-less secular democracy practiced in Israel that defends the Gays & Homosexuals to parade on the streets of the Holy City of Jerusalem is not acceptable to us. Rather if Israel enacts the laws of the Torah as the law of the state, Israel will be more acceptable to us than many other secular Muslim states.
We agreed to write to our government for removal of travel ban on Israel (we have already written to our Government). For our support for recognition of Israel and diplomatic relation, we suggested him to pursue Saudi Government. After the Saudi Government recognizes the State of Israel and establishes diplomatic relation, it will be possible for Bangladesh Government to recognize the State of Israel and establish diplomatic relation.
Meanwhile, we requested them to recognize HAMAS and the Unity Government in Palestine achieved through Saudi mediation. But they seem to be more prejudiced than the Muslims and the Palestinians. However, things are in progress and we think it is time to understand that the Jews, Israel & USA are not the prime enemy of the Muslims. British Government has been the prime enemy of the Muslims and of the believers. The British Government is the prime mover of God-less culture and values. They are trying to De-Faith the Muslim societies. They are trying to undermine marriage, promote fornication, and introduce Live-together and Gay culture in our societies. They have been promoting the fight between the Jews and Muslims to rule the world. We think, it is time for the Muslims and the Jews and the oppressed peoples of the world to unite to foil all British conspiracies to keep their God-less evil political/cultural domination over the world.
We request your excellency to kindly study their reply and provide us with materials to continue this consultation. We are hopeful, it will deliver.

We sent copy of your letter to the leaders and policy makers of the Governments of Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, IR Iran and OIC. We have been discussing your points among our Islamic Clergies, intellectuals and activists.
We draw your kind attention to following points:
1. The Government of the State of Israel is a privileged state authority, and therefore has greater responsibility than the Palestinians who are the underprivileged.
2. We do not support any policy to wipeout the State of Israel.
3.
We insist that the State of Israel should
(a) abandon belligerency ,
(b) leave all occupied lands,
(c) retreat to her 1948 borders and
(d) implement mutually agreed joint administration of the Holy City of Jerusalem by friendly clergies of Jews, Christians and Muslims who will agree access of followers of all Abrahamic Religions to respective Holy sites.
In exchange
(i) The Palestinians and their patrons have to abandon all belligerency against the State of Israel and make real commitment to coexist peacefully as brotherly states and good neighbors.
(ii) Citizenship Laws of the State of Palestine should be fair and accept Jewish population in their territory as legitimate citizens of the State of Palestine.
We hope that Your Excellency will kindly discuss above among you and find out ways to get out of the impasse in mutual interest.
We remain committed to do our best to reach a solution that can be practically implemented.
May Allah forgive us all and help us all to be brotherly to each other and get rid of prejudices and mutual suspicion & hatred.

Reference the points raised in your excellency’s e-mail of 17 April 2007, Palestinian Authority yesterday informed us a few points to be communicated to you as follows:-

Equality of Citizenship in Israel:
It is not true that all citizens irrespective of Jews or Arab Muslims enjoy equal status and opportunities in Israel. Even all Jews are not equal in Israel.
There are 3 classes of Jews in Israel:
(a) Western Jews (European/American) – the privileged Class
(b) Eastern Jews (Middle Eastern) – the under-privileged Class
(c) Black Jews (African) – like the slave Class
Western Jews (from Europe/USA/Canada) enjoy higher status and opportunities in Israel. Eastern Jews and African Jews suffer discrimination.
Arabs generally suffer more severe discrimination and frequent persecution, intimidation and suffocation. Even those Arabs who are in good book of the Jews and have been made Knesset members are not spared from frivolous allegations and charges based on communal suspicion.
Territory and Border of Israel :
On the entrance of Israeli Knesset (Parliament) and on one side of Israeli currency the territory of Israel is shown from the Nile to the Euphrates.
It indicates Israel’s belligerent provocative nature.
Right of Return:
The Jews from anywhere in the world are considered to have the Right of Return to Israel – though those Jews or their parents or their grandparents were not inhabitant of that land.
Palestinians who themselves or their parents or their grandparents were inhabitant of that land are denied of the Right of Return.
UNQUOTE
Kindly check and confirm us the facts and inform us of your opinion and suggestions about the possible solutions (may be more than one options).
We are pursuing our government to lift ban on travel to Israel. We also think that ban on communication, shipping, transports, business transactions etc., should also be removed. In our opinion these ban are rather harming the Muslims and the Palestinians. If all the Muslim state parties and communities remove these barriers and let their people sit face to face and transact with the Jews and Israel - it will create a better environment for solving our mutual problems and differences.
We like to continue this communication and dialogue. We are also considering to invite your excellency to any suitable event in Dhaka.
We shall be waiting for your kind reply and continuation of the Dialogue.

Forgive me from replying from home (on my wife's computer) as I am shortly about to leave on travels for the next ten days and did not want to delay replying to Your Honour.
Allow me to express my appreciation for the spirit in which you have initiated and continue this discussion – in keeping with the injunctions of the Prophet PBUH, to engage others – especially the Peoples of the Book – in respectful discourse; and in keeping with his revelation of the Divine injunction "to know one another".
I am also grateful for the opportunity you offer me to dispel distortions, falsehoods and myths, that have become widespread as a result of the poison of politics and propaganda which "blind the eyes of the wise and distorts the words of the just ".
I refer to your points in the order you have numbered them.
1. This allegation reveals great ignorance regarding Israeli politics and society. Not only is there complete equality of franchise for Arabs and Jews whether Sephardic (from the ME, Asia and Africa – essentially Muslim lands) or Ashkenazic ( essentially from European lands), but the current President of Israel, the Minister of Defense, the Attorney General, the Chief of Staff (and I could go on) are all Sephardic Jews and the Sephardic religious party, Shas, is currently being "courted" by the candidates for the next presidency, revealing the degree to which it exerts control in Israeli political life.
Moreover my own son-in-law's parents come from Morocco and I certainly do not consider him not our grandchildren to be second class citizens in any way.
I can only conclude that the strange and spurious reference to Black African Jews concerns Jews from Ethiopia (there are of course many black Jews from Yemen and Jews from southern Africa residing in Israel.) It is true that Ethiopian Jews face many difficulties due to the fact that before their return to the Jewish homeland they have lived in a very different and disadvantaged cultural context without the same educational opportunities. However not only is there no institutional discrimination against them, but the State actually allocates additional resources for social and educational services as a means of affirmative action.
The complete falsehood of this allegation about different classes of Jews, should lead you to conclude that the allegations concerning Israel's Arab citizens are similarly as false.
2. There is no emblem of Israel's currency at the Knesset. However there is a pattern on the ten agorot coin (approximately one penny sterling – hardly a significant coinage !) that could be seen as a map of the Middle East and may be seen as an allusion to the journeys of our Father Abraham. There is no basis to any claim that the motive behind this outline on the ten agorot coin is belligerent (and as I say, if there would have been any significant motive, it would have made sense to use a more prestigious coin or note! ) However let us for argument's sake allow that the reference intended by this pattern is to indicate that the Divine promise to Abraham Isaac and Jacob as written in the Torah was to inherit the land from the Nile to the Euphrates. Does this imply belligerence ? Judaism like Islam forbids any act of violence against innocents and prohibits theft and robbery of any person. No Divine promise can permit the transgression of God's Law and His moral prohibitions. There are certainly Jews who dream that one day God's promises will be fulfilled, but no decent Jew thinks for one minute that that allows him to wage war against others – especially believers in the One God – nor God forbid to steal others' property.
The parallel would be if a Muslim country had an outline of a map of the extent of the Caliphate when Muslim rule was at its zenith. Surely that would be a legitimate memorial of the past and even a hope for the future – as long as it is not achieved in a manner that shows any disrespect for the life and dignity of another.
3. This is the only point that contains a legitimate criticism. Allow me to explain how Jews see Israel's Law of Return.
Even though we were expelled from our land both by the Babylonians (in 586 BCE) and then by the Romans (70 CE) not only have there always been Jews living in the Holy land, but wherever we have been, we have maintained our fidelity to our relationship with it. It is the only "Qibla" for Jewish prayer. In our daily prayers three times a day and in grace after every meal, we prayed and still pray for our return to the land and its restoration. Our festivals are not only historical festivals but seasonal ones as well (therefore our lunar calendar is synchronized with the solar calendar) in keeping with the seasons in the Holy Land (Jews who live in Argentina for example celebrate the Spring festival in the autumn and pray for rain when it is not appropriate for Argentina, because our liturgy is conditioned by the land.) At the end of a Jewish wedding a glass is broken in remembrance of the destruction of Jerusalem and hope for the return. At the end of the holiest day in the Jewish calendar, the Day of Atonement, and at the end of the Passover meal we declare "next year in Jerusalem."
Accordingly we have always seen ourselves as citizens in potential and the establishment of the State of Israel has enabled us to exercise this "citizenship".
I lament that Palestinians from the Holy Land are not able to enjoy this right as well and the only reason for that is the ongoing conflict and the concomitant security concerns. I pray that these will be resolved, peace will prevail, a Palestinians state will be established; and Palestinians will be able to enjoy the same rights in their state as Jews enjoy in theirs – insh'Allah.
I concur with the sentiments of his Excellency and applaud your initiatives. I think that it would also be important for us to come together and bring religious leaders from the Muslim and Jewish worlds to discuss these matters and work on a common plan for justice security and peace for all in the Holy Land.

" The apostle believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers ; they all believe in Allah and His angels and His books and His apostles ; We make no difference between any of His apostles: and they say : We hear and obey, our Lord ! Thy forgiveness (do we crave) , and to Thee is the end of all journeys."- (The Holy Quran 2 : 285, Sura Baqarah, Verse No.285).
Allah says in the Holy Quran :
"O people ! be careful of (your duty to) your Lord, Who created you from a single being (Adam) and created his mate (Eve) of the same (kind) and spread from these two many men and women ; and be careful of (your duty to ) Allah, by whom you demand one of the another (your rights) , and (to) the ties of relationship ; surely Allah ever watches over you." (The Quran 4:1 Sura Nisa, Verse No.1)
Therefore, all pious Muslims believe in One Allah, His angels, His books, His apostles ; pious Muslims do not make difference between apostles of Allah ; pious Muslims are modest and they beg forgiveness of Allah ; pious Muslims believe that Allah created mankind from a single pair of parents, i.e. Hazrat Adam Aslaihissalam and his wife Hazrat Eve Alaihissalam - thus the mankind is the progeny of Adam and Eve and are related to each other by blood. Pious Muslims do not believe in the atheistic hypothesis of evolution regarding origin of man which propagates the basis of discrimination i.e. man was originated in different races.
Pious Muslims are inherently non-arrogant, modest and compassionate. It is for the sake of Allah only that they sometime become hard. In fact All apostles of Allah and believers including Hazrat Moses Alaihissalam and his pious followers are Muslims. Islam means surrendering to Allah. Muslim means who has surrendered to Allah. Muslims are neither any race nor any tribe nor any ethnic community. Last apostle of Allah i.e. Prophet Muhammad Ibn Abdullah Sallallaho Alaihissalam was brotherly and compassionate to the Jewish people. But unfortunately some of his neighboring Jews turned to be the enemies of Allah. He was required by Allah to be hard to the enemies of Allah.
Divine Revelation in Sura Maidah (V) of the Holy Quran :-
" Verse - 20. And when Musa said to his people : O my people ! remember the favor of Allah upon you when He raised prophets among you and made you kings and gave you what He had not given to any other among the nations. "
" Verse - 21. O my people ! enter the holy land which Allah has prescribed for you and turn not on your backs for then you will turn back losers."
" Verse - 24. They said : O Musa ! we shall never enter it so long as they are in it; go therefore you and your Lord, then fight you both, surely we will here sit down."
" Verse - 25. He (Musa) said : My Lord ! surely I have no control (upon any) but my own self and my brother ; therefore make a separation between us and the nation of transgressors. " (The Holy Quran, Sura Maidah, Sura No.5 )
Kindly verify above facts from your own sources and Rabbi. The way the State of Israel was created by wiping out indigenous population of Palestine, is not justifiable even in accordance with the principles of the prevailing Western Civilization and its institutions - while the western civilization and its institutions owes largely its existence and promotion to our Jewish brethren. It is a contradiction. It is highly irrational.
Nevertheless, realities on the ground have been accepted by the Palestinians as well as by the neighboring states. Then by what Commandment of the Ten Commandments you are denying the inalienable rights of your Muslim and Christian fellows to have a separate Palestinian homeland ?
Let there be light. Let there be peace. Let again the exalted place of Jerusalem be upheld.

Your Excellency may not be aware of the following:-
-Twenty per cent of the State of Israel are Arabs – ninety per cent of them being Muslims – who are full citizens of the State of Israel.
- Israel's Declaration of Independence 1. affirms equality of rights for non-Jews – a position energetically defended by the Israeli courts and 2. calls on the Arab states to live in peace with her .
- Israeli leaders called on the Arab population not to leave their homes in the build up and during the fighting of 1948.
-In 1967 Israel sent a letter via the US to King Hussein urging him not to join Egypt and Syria in trying to exterminate Israel. Hussein ignored this warning and lost control of East Jerusalem and the West Bank as a result. Israel did not force Arab residents to flee – this was their (misguided) choice (substantially fueled by anti-Jewish propaganda.).
- Israel's first president Chaim Weizman signed a concordat of cooperation with the Emir Feisal as leader of the Arab world in 1919. Most Arab nations ignored this and launched hostilities and then war against Israel which led to the tragedy of Palestinian displaced persons.
These points make it clear that Israel has never sought to wipe out any population in the Holy Land/mandatory Palestine, but has sought and seeks to live in peace with them and guaranteeing that in its own society, all are equal before the law and equality of franchise, regardless of religion or race.
As far as a Palestinian state is concerned, the goal of establishing such ( a two states solution) is the official policy of the State of Israel, for which it withdrew at the time from the territories in the West Bank under the Oslo accords. Unfortunately, Palestinian violence forced Israel to reoccupy much of these. If the Palestinians will recognize Israel and cease violent acts against its citizens, they will gain their legitimate aspiration for a state (which is actually in the interests of the State of Israel as well.)

H.E. Chief Rabbi David Rosen, KCSG, International Director of Inter-religious Affairs, American Jewish Committee and President of the International Jewish Committee for Interreligious Consultations, sent us a reply presenting Israeli position in response to our call for agreeing the inalienable rights of the Palestinians to have a separate viable homeland and to uphold the exalted place of Jerusalem.
Earlier we had a series of correspondence and consultation with Dr. Richard L. Benkin (Special Advisor to Intelligence Summit on Bangladesh Affairs) of American Jewish Committee (AJC). We had 3 rounds of meeting with him when he visited Dhaka last January. He sought our support for removal of ban on travel to Israel and subsequently for Bangladesh-Israel diplomatic relation. We told him, if Israel retreats to 1948 borders and agrees to joint administration of Jerusalem by friendly Muslims-Christians-Jewish clerics, we agree to recognize the State of Israel. Unless we know the territory and boundary of Israel and unless the status and administration of Jerusalem is agreed, it is difficult for Islamic parties and activists to recognize Israel.
Moreover, the sort of God-less secular democracy practiced in Israel that defends the Gays & Homosexuals to parade on the streets of the Holy City of Jerusalem is not acceptable to us. Rather if Israel enacts the laws of the Torah as the law of the state, Israel will be more acceptable to us than many other secular Muslim states.
We agreed to write to our government for removal of travel ban on Israel (we have already written to our Government). For our support for recognition of Israel and diplomatic relation, we suggested him to pursue Saudi Government. After the Saudi Government recognizes the State of Israel and establishes diplomatic relation, it will be possible for Bangladesh Government to recognize the State of Israel and establish diplomatic relation.
Meanwhile, we requested them to recognize HAMAS and the Unity Government in Palestine achieved through Saudi mediation. But they seem to be more prejudiced than the Muslims and the Palestinians. However, things are in progress and we think it is time to understand that the Jews, Israel & USA are not the prime enemy of the Muslims. British Government has been the prime enemy of the Muslims and of the believers. The British Government is the prime mover of God-less culture and values. They are trying to De-Faith the Muslim societies. They are trying to undermine marriage, promote fornication, and introduce Live-together and Gay culture in our societies. They have been promoting the fight between the Jews and Muslims to rule the world. We think, it is time for the Muslims and the Jews and the oppressed peoples of the world to unite to foil all British conspiracies to keep their God-less evil political/cultural domination over the world.
We request your excellency to kindly study their reply and provide us with materials to continue this consultation. We are hopeful, it will deliver.

We draw your kind attention to following points:
1. The Government of the State of Israel is a privileged state authority, and therefore has greater responsibility than the Palestinians who are the underprivileged.
2. We do not support any policy to wipeout the State of Israel.
3.
We insist that the State of Israel should
(a) abandon belligerency ,
(b) leave all occupied lands,
(c) retreat to her 1948 borders and
(d) implement mutually agreed joint administration of the Holy City of Jerusalem by friendly clergies of Jews, Christians and Muslims who will agree access of followers of all Abrahamic Religions to respective Holy sites.
In exchange
(i) The Palestinians and their patrons have to abandon all belligerency against the State of Israel and make real commitment to coexist peacefully as brotherly states and good neighbors.
(ii) Citizenship Laws of the State of Palestine should be fair and accept Jewish population in their territory as legitimate citizens of the State of Palestine.
We hope that Your Excellency will kindly discuss above among you and find out ways to get out of the impasse in mutual interest.
We remain committed to do our best to reach a solution that can be practically implemented.
May Allah forgive us all and help us all to be brotherly to each other and get rid of prejudices and mutual suspicion & hatred.

Equality of Citizenship in Israel:
It is not true that all citizens irrespective of Jews or Arab Muslims enjoy equal status and opportunities in Israel. Even all Jews are not equal in Israel.
There are 3 classes of Jews in Israel:
(a) Western Jews (European/American) – the privileged Class
(b) Eastern Jews (Middle Eastern) – the under-privileged Class
(c) Black Jews (African) – like the slave Class
Western Jews (from Europe/USA/Canada) enjoy higher status and opportunities in Israel. Eastern Jews and African Jews suffer discrimination.
Arabs generally suffer more severe discrimination and frequent persecution, intimidation and suffocation. Even those Arabs who are in good book of the Jews and have been made Knesset members are not spared from frivolous allegations and charges based on communal suspicion.
Territory and Border of Israel :
On the entrance of Israeli Knesset (Parliament) and on one side of Israeli currency the territory of Israel is shown from the Nile to the Euphrates.
It indicates Israel’s belligerent provocative nature.
Right of Return:
The Jews from anywhere in the world are considered to have the Right of Return to Israel – though those Jews or their parents or their grandparents were not inhabitant of that land.
Palestinians who themselves or their parents or their grandparents were inhabitant of that land are denied of the Right of Return.

Kindly check and confirm us the facts and inform us of your opinion and suggestions about the possible solutions (may be more than one options).
We are pursuing our government to lift ban on travel to Israel. We also think that ban on communication, shipping, transports, business transactions etc., should also be removed. In our opinion these ban are rather harming the Muslims and the Palestinians. If all the Muslim state parties and communities remove these barriers and let their people sit face to face and transact with the Jews and Israel - it will create a better environment for solving our mutual problems and differences.
We like to continue this communication and dialogue. We are also considering to invite your excellency to any suitable event in Dhaka.
We shall be waiting for your kind reply and continuation of the Dialogue.

Forgive me from replying from home (on my wife's computer) as I am shortly about to leave on travels for the next ten days and did not want to delay replying to Your Honour.
Allow me to express my appreciation for the spirit in which you have initiated and continue this discussion – in keeping with the injunctions of the Prophet PBUH, to engage others – especially the Peoples of the Book – in respectful discourse; and in keeping with his revelation of the Divine injunction "to know one another".
I am also grateful for the opportunity you offer me to dispel distortions, falsehoods and myths, that have become widespread as a result of the poison of politics and propaganda which "blind the eyes of the wise and distorts the words of the just ".
I refer to your points in the order you have numbered them.
1. This allegation reveals great ignorance regarding Israeli politics and society. Not only is there complete equality of franchise for Arabs and Jews whether Sephardic (from the ME, Asia and Africa – essentially Muslim lands) or Ashkenazic ( essentially from European lands), but the current President of Israel, the Minister of Defense, the Attorney General, the Chief of Staff (and I could go on) are all Sephardic Jews and the Sephardic religious party, Shas, is currently being "courted" by the candidates for the next presidency, revealing the degree to which it exerts control in Israeli political life.
Moreover my own son-in-law's parents come from Morocco and I certainly do not consider him not our grandchildren to be second class citizens in any way.
I can only conclude that the strange and spurious reference to Black African Jews concerns Jews from Ethiopia (there are of course many black Jews from Yemen and Jews from southern Africa residing in Israel.) It is true that Ethiopian Jews face many difficulties due to the fact that before their return to the Jewish homeland they have lived in a very different and disadvantaged cultural context without the same educational opportunities. However not only is there no institutional discrimination against them, but the State actually allocates additional resources for social and educational services as a means of affirmative action.
The complete falsehood of this allegation about different classes of Jews, should lead you to conclude that the allegations concerning Israel's Arab citizens are similarly as false.
2. There is no emblem of Israel's currency at the Knesset. However there is a pattern on the ten agorot coin (approximately one penny sterling – hardly a significant coinage !) that could be seen as a map of the Middle East and may be seen as an allusion to the journeys of our Father Abraham. There is no basis to any claim that the motive behind this outline on the ten agorot coin is belligerent (and as I say, if there would have been any significant motive, it would have made sense to use a more prestigious coin or note! ) However let us for argument's sake allow that the reference intended by this pattern is to indicate that the Divine promise to Abraham Isaac and Jacob as written in the Torah was to inherit the land from the Nile to the Euphrates. Does this imply belligerence ? Judaism like Islam forbids any act of violence against innocents and prohibits theft and robbery of any person. No Divine promise can permit the transgression of God's Law and His moral prohibitions. There are certainly Jews who dream that one day God's promises will be fulfilled, but no decent Jew thinks for one minute that that allows him to wage war against others – especially believers in the One God – nor God forbid to steal others' property.
The parallel would be if a Muslim country had an outline of a map of the extent of the Caliphate when Muslim rule was at its zenith. Surely that would be a legitimate memorial of the past and even a hope for the future – as long as it is not achieved in a manner that shows any disrespect for the life and dignity of another.
3. This is the only point that contains a legitimate criticism. Allow me to explain how Jews see Israel's Law of Return.
Even though we were expelled from our land both by the Babylonians (in 586 BCE) and then by the Romans (70 CE) not only have there always been Jews living in the Holy land, but wherever we have been, we have maintained our fidelity to our relationship with it. It is the only "Qibla" for Jewish prayer. In our daily prayers three times a day and in grace after every meal, we prayed and still pray for our return to the land and its restoration. Our festivals are not only historical festivals but seasonal ones as well (therefore our lunar calendar is synchronized with the solar calendar) in keeping with the seasons in the Holy Land (Jews who live in Argentina for example celebrate the Spring festival in the autumn and pray for rain when it is not appropriate for Argentina, because our liturgy is conditioned by the land.) At the end of a Jewish wedding a glass is broken in remembrance of the destruction of Jerusalem and hope for the return. At the end of the holiest day in the Jewish calendar, the Day of Atonement, and at the end of the Passover meal we declare "next year in Jerusalem."
Accordingly we have always seen ourselves as citizens in potential and the establishment of the State of Israel has enabled us to exercise this "citizenship".
I lament that Palestinians from the Holy Land are not able to enjoy this right as well and the only reason for that is the ongoing conflict and the concomitant security concerns. I pray that these will be resolved, peace will prevail, a Palestinians state will be established; and Palestinians will be able to enjoy the same rights in their state as Jews enjoy in theirs – insh'Allah.
I concur with the sentiments of his Excellency and applaud your initiatives. I think that it would also be important for us to come together and bring religious leaders from the Muslim and Jewish worlds to discuss these matters and work on a common plan for justice security and peace for all in the Holy Land.

This morning the Holy Father received the credential letters of the new ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran,Ali Akbar Naseri.
Speaking of Iran, the Pope affirmed that "it is a great nation that possesses eminent spiritual traditions and its people have a profound religious sensibility. This can be reason to hope for a greater openness and confident collaboration with the international community. For its part, the Holy See is always willing to work in harmony with those who serve the cause of peace and promote the dignity that the Creator endowed to all human beings".
"Today," he continued, "we must hope for and sustain a new phase of
international cooperation, more concretely rooted in humanitarian principles
and in the effective assistance of those who suffer, one less dependent on
the cold calculation of exchange and technological or economic benefits".
Benedict XVI emphasized that "faith in the one God should draw all
believers closer and urge them to work together to defend and promote the
fundamental human values". In this context he recalled that "among
universal rights, religious freedom and the freedom of conscience occupy a
fundamental place because they are the origin of all other freedoms. The
defence of other rights that arise from the dignity of persons and peoples,
particularly the protection of life, justice, and solidarity, should also be
the object of true collaboration".
"As I have already had repeated occasion to emphasize, the establishment
of cordial relations between believers of different religions is an urgent
need in our day, in order to build a world that is more human and that
conforms more to God's plan of creation".
The Pope stressed that "Catholics have been present in Iran from the first
centuries of Christianity and have always been an integral part of the
nation's life and culture".
"The Holy See", he added, "trusts the Iranian authorities to strengthen
and guarantee Christians the freedom of professing their faith and of
assuring the Catholic community conditions essential to its existence,
especially the possibility of counting on sufficient religious personnel and
their ability to move within the country to ensure religious service to the
faithful".
The Holy Father emphasized that "the Holy See, by its nature and its
mission, is directly interested in the life of the local churches and wishes
to make all the necessary efforts to help the Catholic community in Iran
keep alive the signs of Christian presence in a spirit of benevolent
understanding with all".
Finally, addressing the Catholics who live in Iran, the Pope assured them
that he is "near to them and prays that they persevere in maintaining their
own identity and remaining rooted to their land, generously working with all
their compatriots in the development of the nation".

Divine guidilines for Dialogue among the People of the Book : The Holy Quran Sura-5 Verses 40-87
Note: Ahl-al-Kitab means the People of the Book - which includes Jews, Christians, Muslims and all those communities to which Allah sent Prophets and Divine Scriptures. In the Holy Quran when Allah addresses the Ahl-al-Kitab (if not specifically meant for any particular People of the Book) it applies to all Peoples of the Books including ethnic Muslim community in which today there are people who are called “Muslim” but do not believe in Allah, in the Holy Prophets, in the Angels, in the Divine Scriptures, in the Day of Judgment and in the Life Hereafter. ISLAM is the Arabic word meaning surrendering to Allah and remaining obedient to Him. True Muslim is one who surrenders to Allah and remains obedient to Him. All Holy Prophets of God since Holy Prophet Adam (Peace & Blessings of God be upon all Prophets of God) propagated the same religion of surrendering to God and remaining obedient to Him – though the practices and rituals may differ from Prophet to Prophet, from community to community.

[6:108] Revile not ye those whom they call upon besides Allah, lest they out of spite revile Allah in their ignorance. Thus have We made alluring to each people its own doings. In the end will they return to their Lord, and We shall then tell them the truth of all that they did.

[5:40] Do you not know that Allah - His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; He chastises whom He pleases; and forgives whom He pleases and Allah has power over all things.
[5:41] O Messenger! let not those grieve you who strive together in hastening to unbelief from among those who say with their mouths: We believe, and their hearts do not believe, and from among those who are Jews; they are listeners for the sake of a lie, listeners for another people who have not come to you; they alter the words from their places, saying: If you are given this, take it, and if you are not given this, be cautious; and as for him whose temptation Allah desires, you cannot control anything for him with Allah. Those are they for whom Allah does not desire that He should purify their hearts; they shall have disgrace in this world, and they shall have a grievous chastisement in the hereafter.
[5:42] (They are) listeners of a lie, devourers of what is forbidden; therefore if they come to you, judge between them or turn aside from them, and if you turn aside from them, they shall not harm you in any way; and if you judge, judge between them with equity; surely Allah loves those who judge equitably.
[5:43] And how do they make you a judge and they have the Taurat wherein is Allah's judgment? Yet they turn back after that, and these are not the believers.
[5:44] Surely We revealed the Taurat in which was guidance and light; with it the prophets who submitted themselves (to Allah) judged (matters) for those who were Jews, and the masters of Divine knowledge and the doctors, because they were required to guard of the Book of Allah, and they were witnesses thereof; therefore fear not the people and fear Me, and do not take a small price for My communications; and whoever did not judge by what Allah revealed, those are they that are the unbelievers.
[5:45] And We prescribed to them in it that life is for life, and eye for eye, and nose for nose, and ear for ear, and tooth for tooth, and (that there is) reprisal in wounds; but he who foregoes it, it shall be an expiation for him; and whoever did not judge by what Allah revealed, those are they that are the unjust.
[5:46] And We sent after them in their footsteps Isa, son of Marium, verifying what was before him of the Taurat and We gave him the Injeel in which was guidance and light, and verifying what was before it of Taurat and a guidance and an admonition for those who guard (against evil).
[ 5:47] And the followers of the Injeel should have judged by what Allah revealed in it; and whoever did not judge by what Allah revealed, those are they that are the transgressors.
[5:48] And We have revealed to you the Book with the truth, verifying what is before it of the Book and a guardian over it, therefore judge between them by what Allah has revealed, and do not follow their low desires (to turn away) from the truth that has come to you; for every one of you did We appoint a law and a way, and if Allah had pleased He would have made you (all) a single people, but that He might try you in what He gave you, therefore strive with one another to hasten to virtuous deeds; to Allah is your return, of all (of you), so He will let you know that in which you differed;
[5:49] And that you should judge between them by what Allah has revealed, and do not follow their low desires, and be cautious of them, lest they seduce you from part of what Allah has revealed to you; but if they turn back, then know that Allah desires to afflict them on account of some of their faults; and most surely many of the people are transgressors.
[5:50] Is it then the judgment of (the times of) ignorance that they desire? And who is better than Allah to judge for a people who are sure?
[5:51] O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians as wali (guardian/teacher); they are wali (guardian/teacher) of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a wali (guardian/teacher), then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.
[5:52] But you will see those in whose hearts is a disease hastening towards them, saying: We fear lest a calamity should befall us; but it may be that Allah will bring the victory or a punishment from Himself, so that they shall be regretting on account of what they hid in their souls.
[5:53] And those who believe will say: Are these they who swore by Allah with the most forcible of their oaths that they were most surely with you? Their deeds shall go for nothing, so they shall become losers.
[5:54] O you who believe! whoever from among you turns back from his religion, then Allah will bring a people, He shall love them and they shall love Him, lowly before the believers, mighty against the unbelievers, they shall strive hard in Allah's way and shall not fear the censure of any censurer; this is Allah's Face, He gives it to whom He pleases, and Allah is Ample-giving, Knowing.
[5:55] Only Allah is your Wali (Guardian) and His Messenger and those who believe, those who keep up prayers and pay the poor-rate while they bow.
[5:56] And whoever takes Allah and His messenger and those who believe for a guardian, then surely Hezbollah (the party of Allah) are they that shall be triumphant.
[5:57] O you who believe! do not take for guardians those who take your religion for a mockery and a joke, from among those who were given the Book before you and the unbelievers; and be careful of (your duty to) Allah if you are believers.
[5:58] And when you call to prayer they make it a mockery and a joke; this is because they are a people who do not understand.
[5:59] Say: O Ahl-al-Kitab (people of the Book)! do you find fault with us (for aught) except that we believe in Allah and in what has been revealed to us and what was revealed before, and that most of you are transgressors?
[5:60] Say: Shall I inform you of (him who is) worse than this in retribution from Allah? (Worse is he) whom Allah has cursed and brought His wrath upon, and of whom He made apes and swine, and he who served the Shaitan; these are worse in place and more erring from the straight path.
[5:61] And when they come to you, they say: We believe; and indeed they come in with unbelief and indeed they go forth with it; and Allah knows best what they concealed.
[5:62] And you will see many of them striving with one another to hasten in sin and exceeding the limits, and their eating of what is unlawfully acquired; certainly evil is that which they do.
[5:63] Why do not the learned men and the doctors of law prohibit them from their speaking of what is sinful and their eating of what is unlawfully acquired? Certainly evil is that which they work.
[5:64] And the Jews say: The hand of Allah is tied up! Their hands shall be shackled and they shall be cursed for what they say. Nay, both His hands are spread out, He expends as He pleases; and what has been revealed to you from your Lord will certainly make many of them increase in inordinacy and unbelief; and We have put enmity and hatred among them till the day of resurrection; whenever they kindle a fire for war Allah puts it out, and they strive to make mischief in the land; and Allah does not love the mischief-makers.
[5:65] And if the Ahl-al-Kitab (people of the Book) had believed and guarded (against evil) We would certainly have covered their evil deeds and We would certainly have made them enter gardens of bliss
[5:66] And if they had kept up the Taurat and the Injeel and that which was revealed to them from their Lord, they would certainly have eaten from above them and from beneath their feet there is a party of them keeping to the moderate course, and (as for) most of them, evil is that which they do.
[5:67] O Messenger! deliver what bas been revealed to you from your Lord; and if you do it not, then you have not delivered His message, and Allah will protect you from the people; surely Allah will not guide the unbelieving people.
[5:68] Say: O Ahl-al-Kitab (people of the Book)! you follow no good till you keep up the Taurat and the Injeel and that which is revealed to you from your Lord; and surely that which has been revealed to you from your Lord shall make many of them increase in inordinacy and unbelief; grieve not therefore for the unbelieving people.
[5:69] Surely those who believe and those who are Jews and the Sabians and the Christians whoever believes in Allah and the last day and does good-- they shall have no fear nor shall they grieve.
[5:70] Certainly We made a covenant with the children of Israel and We sent to them messengers; whenever there came to them an messenger with what that their souls did not desire, some (of them) did they call liars and some they slew.
[5:71] And they thought that there would be no affliction, so they became blind and deaf; then Allah turned to them mercifully, but many of them became blind and deaf; and Allah is well seeing what they do.
[5:72] Certainly they disbelieve who say: Surely Allah, He is the Messiah, son of Marium; and the Messiah said: O Children of Israel! serve Allah, my Lord and your Lord. Surely whoever associates (others) with Allah, then Allah has forbidden to him the garden, and his abode is the fire; and there shall be no helpers for the unjust.
[5:73] Certainly they disbelieve who say: Surely Allah is the third (person) of the three; and there is no god but the one Allah, and if they desist not from what they say, a painful chastisement shall befall those among them who disbelieve.
[5:74] Will they not then turn to Allah and ask His forgiveness? And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
[5:75] The Messiah, son of Marium is but a messenger; messengers before him have indeed passed away; and his mother was a truthful woman; they both used to eat food. See how We make the communications clear to them, then behold, how they are turned away.
[5:76] Say: Do you serve besides Allah that which does not control for you any harm, or any profit? And Allah-- He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
[5:77] Say: O Ahl-al-Kitab (people of the Book)! be not unduly immoderate in your religion, and do not follow the low desires of people who went astray before and led many astray and went astray from the right path.
[5:78] Those who disbelieved from among the children of Israel were cursed by the tongue of Dawood and Isa, son of Marium; this was because they disobeyed and used to exceed the limit.
[5:79] They used not to forbid each other the hateful things (which) they did; certainly evil was that which they did.
[5:80] You will see many of them befriending those who disbelieve; certainly evil is that which their souls have sent before for them, that Allah became displeased with them and in chastisement shall they abide.
[5:81] And had they believed in Allah and the prophet and what was revealed to him, they would not have taken them for friends but! most of them are transgressors.
[5:82] Certainly you will find the most violent of people in enmity for those who believe (to be) the Jews and those who are polytheists, and you will certainly find the nearest in friendship to those who believe (to be) those who say: “we are Christians”; this is because there are priests and monks among them and because they do not behave proudly.
[5:83] And when they hear what has been revealed to the messenger you will see their eyes overflowing with tears on account of the truth that they recognize; they say: “Our Lord! we believe, so write us down with the witnesses (of truth).
[5:84] And what (reason) have we that we should not believe in Allah and in the truth that has come to us, while we earnestly desire that our Lord should cause us to enter with the good people?”
[5:85] Therefore Allah rewarded them on account of what they said, with gardens in which rivers flow to abide in them; and this is the reward of those who do good (to others).
[5:86] And (as for) those who disbelieve and reject Our communications, these are the companions of the flame.
[5:87] O you who believe! do not forbid (yourselves) the good things which Allah has made lawful for you and do not exceed the limits; surely Allah does not love those who exceed the limits.

A Letter to Senior US Specialist on Terrorism and Conflict Prevention

I have pasted hereunder full transliteration of a 1998 speech of Minister Luis Farrakhan delivered in Dhaka. After listening to US President Elect victory speech, I searched out Farrakhan's speech from our archive. He said "Every thing is possible in America". Farrakhan had told us "May be God has kept America for Himself".
Though I do not share all views of Minister Farrakhan, and he never replied my mails and faxes, I thought, important intellectuals of the world should study the speech of Minister Farrakhan which he delivered in Dhaka.
If you kindly remember, referred by Mr. Charles Whiteley of EC Delegation, on 15 June 2006 together with Ambassador Karim you met me in my office at Farmgate, Dhaka.
Meanwhile I had the opportunity to represent several Muslim groups in Dialogues with believer Zionist Jews. With Chief Rabbi David Rosen of Israel I had an important correspondence on Palestine issue. This dialogue and correspondences helped us to overcome many of the prejudices particularly those which the British vested interests sowed to instigate and keep the Muslims and Jews fight each other to let the British exploit the US and the Jews to regain their domination over Asia and Africa through controlling the elite, values and governments therein.
As a professional consultant I worked in several gender related projects of UNFPA, funded mainly by DFID. I could realize that the aim of making Gender a Cross-cutting issue is to destroy our Faith and religion-based social fabric by gradually legalizing "Live-together", homosexual perversion, free-sex and fornication. And under the cover of projects of Good Governance DFID is working to make our government weak and ineffective to impose their will on our nation. Since my realization, I have been searching friend and trying to fight the conspiracies against my nation.
You may remember, until you met me you did not know that JMB Chief Abdur Rahman never fought in Afghanistan, neither against the Soviets, nor against the Northern Alliance nor against the US. I told you the truth. What you learned earlier about Abdur Rahman's link with Afghan was/is wrong.
When I was criticizing atheists, you told me that you are also an atheist. I looked at you and found serenity and honesty in your face.
Churches had become vested interests. So people wanted and needed liberation from domination of Churches. Unfortunately more cunning and more cruel vested interests emerged. It seems to me that people in post renaissance and post industrial revolution west again became victim of new domination by demonic vested interests. Spread of agnosticism and atheistic secularism, avoiding marriage and resorting to hetero-sexual live-together or same-sex live-together became a normal recourse.
Islam made both marriage and divorce easy and simple and made adultery and fornication difficult. Western values and civil laws are making marriage and divorce difficult and making adultery and fornication easy. If family and social life is disrupted, individuals are sure to suffer and all material development become liability of the mankind.

We have had an enjoyable time even though it was short. I am going to try to make my comments brief but yet to make points that I think I should like to make in the company of such distinguished men and women of knowledge and scholarship. Allah has placed on us as Muslims a responsibility. In many of the Quran that I have read with an English translation, when the second sura of the Quran is introduced with Alif, Lam, Mim, the scholars don’t seem to quite know what these three letters actually mean. They introduced Allah to us in this way : ``I am Allah, the best knower . This book, there is no doubt in it. It is a Guide to those who keep their duty, who fear Allah and shun evil, believe in the unseen and keep up prayer and spend what we have given them, who believe in what was revealed to thee and what was revealed before thee. These are on a right course from their Lord, and these are those who are successful and of the Hereafter they are sure. Allah being the best knower there is no compatibility with ignorance and Allah. So one cannot claim to be a true servant of Allah and not be a searcher and a seeker after knowledge. The holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) said to us that one is in the path of God when he goes out in search of knowledge and he is in that path until he returns. Meaning, if he thinks that he has found it, he has lost it. Because, in knowledge you will never get to the end of it in the short time that we have on earth. So Allah makes every believer one who loves knowledge, one who seeks knowledge, one who uses knowledge to cultivate the gifts, skills and talents that Allah has put within every human being and uses those gifts, skills and talents for the advancement of self, of family and community and world.
In introducing me brother may have mentioned country of my birth, the United States of America . USA without a doubt is more than likely one of the greatest countries to emerge in the last six thousand years. However, that country more than most countries is in need of Islam. Islam is the only force that can check the decadence of America and ensure that America will not go the way of ancient Egypt, Babylon, and Rome.
President Nixon was impeached and rehabilitated. He wrote a book called "The Real War". And in this book he said, the enemy of democracy is not communism. The real enemy of democracy is fundamentalist Islam. This is Nixon. He said, the Third World War has already begun, and we are loosing. So he set in motion through his own Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and others a force that to this very moment is opposed to the development and spread of Islam in the world. If Islam is the enemy of democracy and Allah says in the Quran that He it is who sent His Messenger with Guidance and the true religion that He may make it to overcome the religions, all of them, though the polities may be adverse, then Allah Himself has ordered that Islam will become universally known, universally accepted.
Then if America and her president sees Islam as an enemy and opposes Islam, then they are not just in opposition to Islam, they are in opposition to the will of Allah, and nothing and no one can oppose God and win.
So if you look now at the policies of my government to Islamic nations, every president since Nixon and Ford has had a run in with some member of the Islamic world. Under Carter there was a run in with Iran, under Bush Iraq, Iran, now Sudan, Libya, Reagan and Libya, Bush and Libya, Bush and Iraq. And it doesn’t stop. Every Muslim country that seems to get strong Militarily, there is a policy, even known or unknown, to destabilize that regime. Every Muslin country that has wealth, there is a secret policy to undermine and take away the wealth of the wealthy moderate state and the military potential of those Muslims who have some military potential. Pakistan is trying to develop a nuclear device. What’s wrong with that? India has nuclear weapons. China has nuclear weapons. Why not Pakistan? Israel has nuclear weapons and weapons of mass destruction. So, if you want to take the teeth out of Saddam Hussain, why not take the teeth out of Israel and, then start disarming the whole area.
But there is unwritten story. There is my brother from Iraq. I had a talk with a highly placed member of the Saudi Government. And when Imam Khomeni came to power and said words that seem to threat the Gulf area and the Saudi, the Saudis gave, according to this highly placed source, 80 billion dollars to Iraq, to build Iraq into a military bulwark against, what they thought was, Iranian expansionism. Who benefited from this 80 billion dollars? The Americans sold weapons to Saddam Hussain . The British sold weapons. The French built an atomic reactor for our brother. The Russians, all of them benefited from this 80 billion dollars. So if our brother has any weapons of mass destruction, they know it, they sold him the weapons and probably helped them with the technology as long as he would use it against Iran. Because America doesn’t care if two Muslim states fight each other and cancel each other out. That’s better for Israel. So, after the war was over, Iran was weakened. But Iraq still had strength. So the aim of America was to get Iraq into a problem. That they could Weaken Iraq as a potential military power not only for yesterday but on into the next century. They want no threat to Israel. And because of the division among the Muslims, Yassir Arafat had to accept the Oslo Peace Accord, which is a disgrace to Palestinians and to those who truly struggle for the sovereignty and the right of self determination of the Palestinian people. Now, when I visited our brother Yassir Arafat, he looked dejected and broken, and he pointed to some flowers on his table and said, "I can’t even sell may flowers. I can’t sell and export fruit and vegetables. I can not even export textiles and goods that were made from our textiles. We have lost one hundred twenty thousand jobs, and ten million dollars a day we loose." As President of the Palestinian authority, he is like living in a concentration camp. And it seems as though Muslim World can look the other way in the face of Palestinian sufferings.
Muslims seemed to be able to look the other way in the face of Iraqi sufferings. We went to Iraq. Our Minister for Health, my wife, my mother Tynetta Muhammad, all of us were there to visit the hospital. The Minister of Health said, this is not a hospital. Hospitals have medicines to heal the sick. That is a death camp, because, there is no medicine for the children. There is no medicine for those dying of Depleted Uranium that America put in bombs. But how could a Muslim hear the sufferings of Iraqi people and not lift his voice. Do we want friendship with America and Britain so much that we would loose the friendship of God?
Well, now Sudan. America is spending billions of dollars putting enemies all around Sudan. Why do you want enemies on the borders of Sudan? Because you are afraid of am Islamist regime, that Islam may spread into the Central and Southern Africa and cut off your play outs in Africa. They have divided Arab and Africa, do that today the Arab and the Africans in Africa they are drawing a line across separating Central Africa, Southern Africa from Arab, North Africa and they are making the Arabs the North Africa the enemy, while we know the bridge, we know what they have done, we see the America, we see what they are doing. But they are making Arabs and Africans the enemy of each other while it was their unity that established Islam in the world. In 1977 the Arabs and the Africans had their first African - Arab Summit meeting in Cairo, Egypt. That was in 1977. And they have never had another summit meeting because the West does not want Arab – African unity. The West does mot want Muslim unity.
So why? If they don’t want, and Allah has ordered, why don’t we obey Allah? And what is the consequence of our disobedience to the Commands of God. Do you think that you will not pay a price for disobeying God when you have the Holy Quran in your hand. Allah says in the Quran, "do you advice others and neglect your own soul while you read the Book . Have you no sense at all ?"
We act like a people who have no sense. We have given over our power to the United Nations. Who is the United Nations that they should dictate to us when the Quran has already dictated to the Muslims how Muslims should act? We seat in the United Nations as a weak power. I am talking about the whole Muslim Ummah is a weak force. Inside the United Nations they mock, they laugh at us, they laugh at Egypt, the great citadel of civilization. They have a laughter, they have the whole world laughter. All of us are pawning because we want friendship with the super powers rather than friendship with the only power and that is Allah. But how many of us really believe that Allah is really God, since one thing to say “Ashhadualla ilaha illallah’’ but there is another thing to believe in, not just stand up on that principle of 'Shahadat’, and that there is no God but Allah. But we are liars and hypocrites because we say, “Yes Allah is God but Clinton calls. Yes Allah is God but we have no money.’’ Who holds the treasures of the heaven and the earth ? Does Clinton own them? If Allah is the owner, Why not bow down to Allah then, and seek what you need from Him rather than crawl on knees to the powers of the world begging, then for what you could get for yourself if you were a united Ummah. The Muslim World in my conclusion is weak and degenerated. It pains me as a Muslim to come home to where Islam began and see my family in filth and squalor and disease talking about how great Islam is, but sending your children to Europe and America to learn because we lost the advantage that Islam gave us. You know that I am telling the truth. It hurts me to speak like this . But this is my family and I am a simple man. But I am in life with Islam and I know that Islam is the superpower potentially in the next century. But we got to do something now to make that a reality. Allah is not going to change our condition until we make a change of ourselves. Allah didn’t setup Egypt. Allah didn’t setup Saudi Arabia. Allah didn’t setup Kuwait, United Arab Emirates. Allah didn’t setup Sudan. Allah didn’t setup Morocco, Libya, or all of your national boundaries. That’s your doing. You have got a national constitution. But your constitution should be the Quran if you are a Muslim. There is only one nation. Look, I have to say this. Allah didn’t setup Shiia. Allah didn’t setup Sunni. Allah didn’t setup Hunbali, Hanafi. This is our doing. Till our Muhammad was a Muslim and there was no division among us until after he was gone. Then we setup our religion into sects and parties each one glorying in their little path. And Shaitan is happy today. Because, the Ummah is divided. The Holy Prophet said, "one learned man is harder on Shaitan than thousand ignorant worshippers." We have millions of ignorant worshippers and just a few intellectuals, and most of them are bought and paid for by the West. We have more love for money than we have for Allah. We have more love for the things of this world than even for the thought of the Hereafter. We need to be coming back to Allah.
When I was in Iraq years ago, just prior to the Gulf War, I spoke to sever hundred fifty Ulemas. They were talking about the Holy War. But their Holy War is like this: you can wear Allah like He is some garments; you take Him off when it’s hot, and you put Him on when it’s cold. Allah doesn’t hear your prayers if you are insincere in your expression.
Allah will help you. But you and I have to come back to Him. That is our problem what I have said in Iraq. Our problem is not Israel. Our problem is not America. Our problem is our deviation from the Path of God and the Sunnah of the Prophet. And until and unless we are called back to have real thing. I am not talking about rituals and religions. Because prayer has degenerated into a religion. Some Muslims look at me and say, ‘Farrakhan, do you make your five daily prayer ? ` If I tell them, `yes’, they say, `oh! That’s good. ` They say, ` do you make Salah or do you make Doa ?’. If I make Salat,’ they say, `oh! That is good’. Any damn one can do this. Any damn one can say,’ Allaho Akbar.
Any damn one can learn how to bow down and put his face on a mat. That is not telling you that you are a real Muslim. Because you are bowing down your physical body, but not bowing you mind down to do the Will of God . Means nothing. Your prayer is empty, unless you are training you mind through bending your body and prostrating your body, then we must prostrate our mind to the Will of Allah. Then Allah can use us as a battering ram against the forces of evil. But I am a fool, I am fool. I know that this is a great nation Bangladesh. You are not poor. You are rich. But you lost the key to the vault. The vault is the Quran. And the Quran holds the treasures of the heaven and the earth. But now, Where is my key ? I forgot the combination. Well, that’s why you are wrecked, you are poor. That’s why people out there picking pockets and interlinked with little cheap thievery and what not........ because Islam is not really being practiced. So I am coming up out of America. But I am not saying that I am a better Muslim than any body else. But brothers, sisters, I refused to bow down. The Jews want me to come on bended knees. They said. ‘’Farrakhan, unless you tell us that you are sorry for what you said, we will make sure that you and your people suffer.’ I told the Jews,’’ in order to cut off my blessings you better get a ladder that reach your to heaven. And since you don’t have that ladder, you can’t cut off my blessings. I will never bow down to you.’’ The Congress of the United States threatened me. They said, ‘’ Farrakhan, you have gone to this rogue nation. We are going to call you before the Congress’’. I said,’’ Don’t threat me, do it. Do it. ‘’ I told my friends,‘’ I don’t need anybody to go with me. Allah is sufficient. I will go to the Congress with my Quran, and beat hell out of everything in them.’’ Because, when you have Allah, you got it all. They talk about us as the minority. How can we be minority in union with God. I am the majority, and so are we.
Thank you all for listening to me. I am all fired out. If I have hurt anybody’s feelings, I hope you will forgive me. That’s not my intention. My intention is to put on your consciousness the fact that we have got to be better than what we are, in order for Allah to give us the benefit of what He promised us . And I pray to Allah in the name of His servant Muhammad (Peace be upon him) for the great nation of Iraq. I pray. I pray that Allah will help us as an Ummah to say to Biil Clinton‘’ enough is enough.’’ I am hurrying to go back to America, because I want to make my voice heard inside America that Clinton can not, we can not permit him to do this. And I hope that President Saddam Hussein will not give them the chance to do what they want to do. But the Iraqi people may have been chosen by Allah to suffer to awaken you sleeping giants. He may have chosen one man Saddam Hussein to defy the powers that you bow down to, to show you that they would rather be dead than to put-up to America crawling and begging. That is something worth dying, and the Quran says, persecution is worse than slaughter. And so the Iraqi people had been dying, and I worn Bill Clinton. I say, ‘’Mr. President, it is not a good thing for you to turn the whole Muslim world against you. The whole Muslim world may not agree with Saddam Hussein, but the Muslim world will become your enemy.’’ May be Allah wants us turn the world and is using Iraq to turn the world opinion against the so called superpowers. I want you to keep your eyes on America as I sit down. I want you to know that God is real. His Power is real. He has kept America as a preserved area for Himself. No bomb has fallen on America, because God wants that for Himself. Just as He used tempest to bring Pharaoh down. He has the same in mind for America. You just keep watching. No outside forces can harm her. Her’s will come from God if she does not bow down. And it is my job to worn her that she is at the end ever though she looks like she will be here forever.
I am telling you, she is on her death bed, but she doesn’t know it, neither do you. But when Allah avenges His commands to pass on America, all of you will bow down. Because, you are bowing down now to that which has no power, but when Allah uses His power on America as He is destined to do, all of us will bow down. Surely in the shock of the hour when you see it is grievous thing, you will see men drunken but they will not be drunken, but the chastisement of Allah will be severe.
May Allah bless you Ambassadors. May Allah bless the scholars, the teachers, the Supreme Court lawyers to be the best Muslims that we can be . And instead of tearing each other down, let’s help each other to be better than what we are, and if we do that then the meals that we are about to enjoy will go down well and it will energize our bodies not for us to live in contravention to Allah, but for us to live better in submission to His will.

After listening to US President Elect victory speech, I searched out Farrakhan's speech from our archive. He said "Every thing is possible in America". Farrakhan had told us "May be God has kept America for Himself".

Meanwhile I had the opportunity to represent several Muslim groups in Dialogues with believer Zionist Jews. With Chief Rabbi David Rosen of Israel I had an important correspondence on Palestine issue. This dialogue and correspondences helped us to overcome many of the prejudices particularly those which the British vested interests sowed to instigate and keep the Muslims and Jews fight each other to let the British exploit the US and the Jews to regain their domination over Asia and Africa through controlling the elite, values and governments therein.
As a professional consultant I worked in several gender related projects of UNFPA, funded mainly by DFID. I could realize that the aim of making Gender a Cross-cutting issue is to destroy our Faith and religion-based social fabric by gradually legalizing "Live-together", homosexual perversion, free-sex and fornication. And under the cover of projects of Good Governance DFID is working to make our government weak and ineffective to impose their will on our nation. Since my realization, I have been searching friend and trying to fight the conspiracies against my nation.
You may remember, until you met me you did not know that JMB Chief Abdur Rahman never fought in Afghanistan, neither against the Soviets, nor against the Northern Alliance nor against the US. I told you the truth. What you learned earlier about Abdur Rahman's link with Afghan was/is wrong.
When I was criticizing atheists, you told me that you are also an atheist. I looked at you and found serenity and honesty in your face.
Churches had become vested interests. So people wanted and needed liberation from domination of Churches. Unfortunately more cunning and more cruel vested interests emerged. It seems to me that people in post renaissance and post industrial revolution west again became victim of new domination by demonic vested interests. Spread of agnosticism and atheistic secularism, avoiding marriage and resorting to hetero-sexual live-together or same-sex live-together became a normal recourse.
Islam made both marriage and divorce easy and simple and made adultery and fornication difficult. Western values and civil laws are making marriage and divorce difficult and making adultery and fornication easy. If family and social life is disrupted, individuals are sure to suffer and all material development become liability of the mankind.

They have divided Arab and Africa, do that today the Arab and the Africans in Africa they are drawing a line across separating Central Africa, Southern Africa from Arab, North Africa and they are making the Arabs the North Africa the enemy, while we know the bridge, we know what they have done, we see the America, we see what they are doing. But they are making Arabs and Africans the enemy of each other while it was their unity that established Islam in the world. In 1977 the Arabs and the Africans had their first African - Arab Summit meeting in Cairo, Egypt. That was in 1977. And they have never had another summit meeting because the West does not want Arab – African unity. The West does mot want Muslim unity.
So why? If they don’t want, and Allah has ordered, why don’t we obey Allah? And what is the consequence of our disobedience to the Commands of God. Do you think that you will not pay a price for disobeying God when you have the Holy Quran in your hand. Allah says in the Quran, "do you advice others and neglect your own soul while you read the Book . Have you no sense at all ?"
We act like a people who have no sense. We have given over our power to the United Nations. Who is the United Nations that they should dictate to us when the Quran has already dictated to the Muslims how Muslims should act? We seat in the United Nations as a weak power. I am talking about the whole Muslim Ummah is a weak force. Inside the United Nations they mock, they laugh at us, they laugh at Egypt, the great citadel of civilization. They have a laughter, they have the whole world laughter. All of us are pawning because we want friendship with the super powers rather than friendship with the only power and that is Allah. But how many of us really believe that Allah is really God, since one thing to say “Ashhadualla ilaha illallah’’ but there is another thing to believe in, not just stand up on that principle of 'Shahadat’, and that there is no God but Allah. But we are liars and hypocrites because we say, “Yes Allah is God but Clinton calls. Yes Allah is God but we have no money.’’ Who holds the treasures of the heaven and the earth ? Does Clinton own them? If Allah is the owner, Why not bow down to Allah then, and seek what you need from Him rather than crawl on knees to the powers of the world begging, then for what you could get for yourself if you were a united Ummah. The Muslim World in my conclusion is weak and degenerated. It pains me as a Muslim to come home to where Islam began and see my family in filth and squalor and disease talking about how great Islam is, but sending your children to Europe and America to learn because we lost the advantage that Islam gave us. You know that I am telling the truth. It hurts me to speak like this . But this is my family and I am a simple man. But I am in life with Islam and I know that Islam is the superpower potentially in the next century. But we got to do something now to make that a reality. Allah is not going to change our condition until we make a change of ourselves. Allah didn’t setup Egypt. Allah didn’t setup Saudi Arabia. Allah didn’t setup Kuwait, United Arab Emirates. Allah didn’t setup Sudan. Allah didn’t setup Morocco, Libya, or all of your national boundaries. That’s your doing. You have got a national constitution. But your constitution should be the Quran if you are a Muslim. There is only one nation. Look, I have to say this. Allah didn’t setup Shiia. Allah didn’t setup Sunni. Allah didn’t setup Hunbali, Hanafi. This is our doing. Till our Muhammad was a Muslim and there was no division among us until after he was gone. Then we setup our religion into sects and parties each one glorying in their little path. And Shaitan is happy today. Because, the Ummah is divided. The Holy Prophet said, "one learned man is harder on Shaitan than thousand ignorant worshippers." We have millions of ignorant worshippers and just a few intellectuals, and most of them are bought and paid for by the West. We have more love for money than we have for Allah. We have more love for the things of this world than even for the thought of the Hereafter. We need to be coming back to Allah.
When I was in Iraq years ago, just prior to the Gulf War, I spoke to sever hundred fifty Ulemas. They were talking about the Holy War. But their Holy War is like this: you can wear Allah like He is some garments; you take Him off when it’s hot, and you put Him on when it’s cold. Allah doesn’t hear your prayers if you are insincere in your expression.
Allah will help you. But you and I have to come back to Him. That is our problem what I have said in Iraq. Our problem is not Israel. Our problem is not America. Our problem is our deviation from the Path of God and the Sunnah of the Prophet. And until and unless we are called back to have real thing. I am not talking about rituals and religions. Because prayer has degenerated into a religion. Some Muslims look at me and say, ‘Farrakhan, do you make your five daily prayer ? ` If I tell them, `yes’, they say, `oh! That’s good. ` They say, ` do you make Salah or do you make Doa ?’. If I make Salat,’ they say, `oh! That is good’. Any damn one can do this. Any damn one can say,’ Allaho Akbar.
Any damn one can learn how to bow down and put his face on a mat. That is not telling you that you are a real Muslim. Because you are bowing down your physical body, but not bowing you mind down to do the Will of God . Means nothing. Your prayer is empty, unless you are training you mind through bending your body and prostrating your body, then we must prostrate our mind to the Will of Allah. Then Allah can use us as a battering ram against the forces of evil. But I am a fool, I am fool. I know that this is a great nation Bangladesh. You are not poor. You are rich. But you lost the key to the vault. The vault is the Quran. And the Quran holds the treasures of the heaven and the earth. But now, Where is my key ? I forgot the combination. Well, that’s why you are wrecked, you are poor. That’s why people out there picking pockets and interlinked with little cheap thievery and what not........ because Islam is not really being practiced. So I am coming up out of America. But I am not saying that I am a better Muslim than any body else. But brothers, sisters, I refused to bow down. The Jews want me to come on bended knees. They said. ‘’Farrakhan, unless you tell us that you are sorry for what you said, we will make sure that you and your people suffer.’ I told the Jews,’’ in order to cut off my blessings you better get a ladder that reach your to heaven. And since you don’t have that ladder, you can’t cut off my blessings. I will never bow down to you.’’ The Congress of the United States threatened me. They said, ‘’ Farrakhan, you have gone to this rogue nation. We are going to call you before the Congress’’. I said,’’ Don’t threat me, do it. Do it. ‘’ I told my friends,‘’ I don’t need anybody to go with me. Allah is sufficient. I will go to the Congress with my Quran, and beat hell out of everything in them.’’ Because, when you have Allah, you got it all. They talk about us as the minority. How can we be minority in union with God. I am the majority, and so are we.
Thank you all for listening to me. I am all fired out. If I have hurt anybody’s feelings, I hope you will forgive me. That’s not my intention. My intention is to put on your consciousness the fact that we have got to be better than what we are, in order for Allah to give us the benefit of what He promised us . And I pray to Allah in the name of His servant Muhammad (Peace be upon him) for the great nation of Iraq. I pray. I pray that Allah will help us as an Ummah to say to Biil Clinton‘’ enough is enough.’’ I am hurrying to go back to America, because I want to make my voice heard inside America that Clinton can not, we can not permit him to do this. And I hope that President Saddam Hussein will not give them the chance to do what they want to do. But the Iraqi people may have been chosen by Allah to suffer to awaken you sleeping giants. He may have chosen one man Saddam Hussein to defy the powers that you bow down to, to show you that they would rather be dead than to put-up to America crawling and begging. That is something worth dying, and the Quran says, persecution is worse than slaughter. And so the Iraqi people had been dying, and I worn Bill Clinton. I say, ‘’Mr. President, it is not a good thing for you to turn the whole Muslim world against you. The whole Muslim world may not agree with Saddam Hussein, but the Muslim world will become your enemy.’’ May be Allah wants us turn the world and is using Iraq to turn the world opinion against the so called superpowers. I want you to keep your eyes on America as I sit down. I want you to know that God is real. His Power is real. He has kept America as a preserved area for Himself. No bomb has fallen on America, because God wants that for Himself. Just as He used tempest to bring Pharaoh down. He has the same in mind for America. You just keep watching. No outside forces can harm her. Her’s will come from God if she does not bow down. And it is my job to worn her that she is at the end ever though she looks like she will be here forever.
I am telling you, she is on her death bed, but she doesn’t know it, neither do you. But when Allah avenges His commands to pass on America, all of you will bow down. Because, you are bowing down now to that which has no power, but when Allah uses His power on America as He is destined to do, all of us will bow down. Surely in the shock of the hour when you see it is grievous thing, you will see men drunken but they will not be drunken, but the chastisement of Allah will be severe.
May Allah bless you Ambassadors. May Allah bless the scholars, the teachers, the Supreme Court lawyers to be the best Muslims that we can be . And instead of tearing each other down, let’s help each other to be better than what we are, and if we do that then the meals that we are about to enjoy will go down well and it will energize our bodies not for us to live in contravention to Allah, but for us to live better in submission to His will.
Thank you so much for receiving me. Thank you so much for allowing me to come into this great country. And thank Allah for brother Shamsul Amin for meeting me in Moscow and telling me `’you must come to Bangladesh.’ And we heard him and in his plea we heard Allah, and we came. And the wealth that the people were looking for that day have all perished. But the ‘Words’ still remains. With what did I come to Africa and Bangladesh ? A word as reminder to you what you already know, you already believe. Come on family, let’s come together, and let’s be real Muslims, and become the superpower for God’s glory and for rise of humanity in the next century. I pray that the Islamic leaders will be willing conducive for this world. Because sometime it is our own Islamic leaders and their divisions and their envy and their enmity that is holding back the people from the rise that the people would want. I’ll come back Insha–Allah. But in the meantime, I hope that these words will stay with you. And I pray that Allah will bless these words to enter the hearts that we may rise up and do what Allah has ordered us to do.

I, Kazi Abu Ehsan Muhammad Azizul Huque son of Kazi Abu Zafor Muhammad Abdul Huque, an obedient slave of Allah, being the founder convener of the Council of Islamic Revolutionaries of Bangladesh (otherwise known as Hezbollah) do hereby call the true believer pious Islamic Clergy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to strip President Khatami of Iran of his Islamic credentials, turban and cloak for referring the principles of the Holy Quran and Sunnah as fossils and ridiculing obedience & devotion to the way of Allah prescribed in the Holy Quran & Sunnah as fossilized habits and attitudes based on illusions and antiquated habits.
I read a report in the Pakistan Observer of 13th December, 2002, captioned “US, Taliban anti-Islamic forces : Khatami” which implies that the injunctions of the Holy Quran and the way of life practiced by Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammadur Rasulullah (Sallallaho Alaihissalm) is considered by President Khatami as fossils and ugly.
I have waited for a month to see whether President Khatami disowns or amends the statement. But he has not. So it is confirmed that he owns the statement.
What the Talebans implemented are generally accepted by the truly believer pious Islamic Clergy and spiritualists as a revival of Islamic tradition of the age of the Holy Prophet (SM). So far I remember, sometime in 2001 A.D., to contain rising crime in Iran Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati in his Juma Khotba in Tehran called for considering implementation of Islamic injunctions practiced by Taleban Government.
I think, the Talebans are intelligent, rational and abreast of time. They used fire arms, vehicles and aircrafts to fight the enemies instead of swords and horses of the age of the Holy Prophet (SM). Their leader Mollah Mohammad Omar, like may other pious Sunni Ulemas, avoided pictures and videos of living being. But he was very wise and did not try to impose his own opinion on all others. He did not quarrel with Osama and other Muslim combatants who used photography and videos for record and propagation. The Islamic and governmental injunctions which the Talebans tried to implement in Afghanistan were generally adopted by the consensus of the Ulemas of Afghanistan based on the sources of the Holy Quran, Sunnah, Fiqha and culture of Afghanistan. I understand that late Imam Khomeni (r.a.) did the same thing in Iran after the Islamic Revolution which at that time was truly the greatest achievement of Islam since the European Renaissance.
I hope, President Khatami does not represent Ahle Shiia of Iran. If the Iranian nation fails to impeach Khatami, the Iranian nation is expected to pay a very high cost for it. Vulnerability of Iran is growing fast since the Taleban Gov’t left Kabul & Kandahar. I pray to Allah that the current Iranian ruling elite be humiliated and terminated if they do not form alliance with the partisans of Mollah Mohammad Omar (may the Shade and Blessings of Allah be with him).

Tehran, Dec 12, IRNA -- Iran's President Mohammad Khatami here Wednesday described hardline Taliban and their imperialist opponents, obviously the United States, as two blades of the same scissors, which worked to ruin God's religion.
"God's religion today is lying between the two blades of a very dangerous pair of scissors: One blade is the Islam of Taliban, while the other is trying to impose war, hatred, animosity and imperialism on the whole world under the pretext of (fighting) the Islam of Taliban," he told at the inauguration of a paintings exhibition.
"The Islam of Taliban belongs to those who are portraying the beautiful religion of God as ugly with their repellent views and backward ideology as well as their fossilized habits and rigid-mindedness and their attitude towards religion is based on a bunch of illusions and antiquated habits.
"On the opposite side are those powers that are trying to tarnish the image of God's religion, which has turned to a source of uprising for freedom and independence and threat to illegitimate interests of hegemonic powers in many countries," Khatami added.
US has mounted on a self-styled worldwide campaign against terrorism after the September 11 attack on American landmarks, which Washington blames on al-Qaeda and their Afghan-based Taliban allies.
Khatami called on Islamic artists to portray "beauties of God's religion" and show how to free oneself from "existing ugliness".
"The world people today are under the yoke of many repressive systems which have been indulging in killing chances of progress and development among nations and are paying no attention to human rights.
"Dependence, despise, violation of human rights are among the ugliness which exists in our world. An artist must see these and invite world nations to freedom.
"Meanwhile, all Muslim artists, thinkers and statesmen must strive for properly portraying the beauties of God's religion and refrain from remaining silent," the Iranian president went on to say.
Khatami cited the Zionist Israeli regime's daily atrocities against the Palestinian people in occupied lands among ugly pictures of the world.
"Can a committed artist remain silent towards the oppression which the Palestinian people are being subjected to and not call for the establishment of a government in their lands?" he said.
"Can a Muslim accept that some people bear children or are born and die in camps while their land is held occupied by those who have come from the other corner of the world?," Khatami added.

1998 SPEECH OF MINISTER LUIS FARRAKHAN IN DHAKA
[US Black Muslim Leader Minister Luis Farrakhan come to Bangladesh on 6th February 1998. He delivered following speech on 7th February 1998 at Restaurant Olive Garden of Gulshan, Dhaka. This was his last speech before leaving Bangladesh. Diplomats of Muslim countries, Attorney General of Bangladesh, Political leaders, eminent scholars, human rights activists, journalists and businessmen were present.
Prof.Dr.M.Maimul Ahsan Khan, Chairman, Department of Law, University of Dhaka, was his host. Al-Hajj Hazrat Mawlawi Mohammad Anowar Hossain, Chief Spiritual Guide of Hezbollah in Bangladesh, conducted the event. The event was sponsored by CIRB-Hezbollah.]
Thank you, very much. Assalamualaikum. Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. I know that everyone is hungry. So I am going to make a very quick speech. My dear brothers and sisters of Bangladesh, we are very honored and happy to be in this great country, the second largest Muslim nation on the earth. We have had an enjoyable time even though it was short. I am going to try to make my comments brief but yet to make points that I think I should like to make in the company of such distinguished men and women of knowledge and scholarship. Allah has placed on us as Muslims a responsibility. In many of the Quran that I have read with an English translation, when the second sura of the Quran is introduced with Alif, Lam, Mim, the scholars don’t seem to quite know what these three letters actually mean. They introduced Allah to us in this way :
"I am Allah, the best knower. This book, there is no doubt in it. It is a Guide to those who keep their duty, who fear Allah and shun evil, believe in the unseen and keep up prayer and spend what We have given them, who believe in what was revealed to thee and what was revealed before thee. These are on a right course from their Lord, and these are those who are successful and of the Hereafter they are sure."
Allah being the best knower there is no compatibility with ignorance and Allah. So one cannot claim to be a true servant of Allah and not be a searcher and a seeker after knowledge. The holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) said to us that one is in the path of God when he goes out in search of knowledge and he is in that path until he returns. Meaning, if he thinks that he has found it, he has lost it. Because, in knowledge you will never get to the end of it in the short time that we have on earth. So Allah makes every believer one who loves knowledge, one who seeks knowledge, one who uses knowledge to cultivate the gifts, skills and talents that Allah has put within every human being and uses those gifts, skills and talents for the advancement of self, of family and community and world.
In introducing me brother may have mentioned country of my birth, the United States of America. USA without a doubt is more than likely one of the greatest countries to emerge in the last six thousand years. However, that country more than most countries is in need of Islam. Islam is the only force that can check the decadence of America and ensure that America will not go the way of ancient Egypt, Babylon, and Rome.
President Nixon was impeached and rehabilitated. He wrote a book called "The Real War". And in this book he said, the enemy of democracy is not communism. The real enemy of democracy is fundamentalist Islam. This is Nixon. He said, the Third World War has already begun, and we are loosing. So he set in motion through his own Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and others a force that to this very moment is opposed to the development and spread of Islam in the world. If Islam is the enemy of democracy and Allah says in the Quran that He it is who sent His Messenger with Guidance and the true religion that He may make it to overcome the religions, all of them, though the polities may be adverse, then Allah Himself has ordered that Islam will become universally known, universally accepted.
Then if America and her president sees Islam as an enemy and opposes Islam, then they are not just in opposition to Islam, they are in opposition to the will of Allah, and nothing and no one can oppose God and win.
So if you look now at the policies of my government to Islamic nations, every president since Nixon and Ford has had a run in with some member of the Islamic world. Under Carter there was a run in with Iran, under Bush Iraq, Iran, now Sudan, Libya, Reagan and Libya, Bush and Libya, Bush and Iraq. And it doesn’t stop. Every Muslim country that seems to get strong Militarily, there is a policy, even known or unknown, to destabilize that regime. Every Muslin country that has wealth, there is a secret policy to undermine and take away the wealth of the wealthy moderate state and the military potential of those Muslims who have some military potential. Pakistan is trying to develop a nuclear device. What’s wrong with that? India has nuclear weapons. China has nuclear weapons. Why not Pakistan? Israel has nuclear weapons and weapons of mass destruction. So, if you want to take the teeth out of Saddam Hussain, why not take the teeth out of Israel and, then start disarming the whole area.
But there is unwritten story. There is my brother from Iraq. I had a talk with a highly placed member of the Saudi Government. And when Imam Khomeni came to power and said words that seem to threat the Gulf area and the Saudi, the Saudis gave, according to this highly placed source, 80 billion dollars to Iraq, to build Iraq into a military bulwark against, what they thought was, Iranian expansionism. Who benefited from this 80 billion dollars? The Americans sold weapons to Saddam Hussain. The British sold weapons. The French built an atomic reactor for our brother. The Russians, all of them benefited from this 80 billion dollars. So if our brother has any weapons of mass destruction, they know it, they sold him the weapons and probably helped them with the technology as long as he would use it against Iran. Because America doesn’t care if two Muslim states fight each other and cancel each other out. That’s better for Israel. So, after the war was over, Iran was weakened. But Iraq still had strength. So the aim of America was to get Iraq into a problem. That they could Weaken Iraq as a potential military power not only for yesterday but on into the next century. They want no threat to Israel. I can’t sell and export fruit and vegetables. I can not even export textiles and goods that were made from our textiles. And it seems as though Muslim World can look the other way in the face of Palestinian sufferings.
Muslims seemed to be able to look the other way in the face of Iraqi sufferings. We went to Iraq. Our Minister for Health, my wife, my mother Tynetta Muhammad, all of us were there to visit the hospital. The Minister of Health said, this is not a hospital. Hospitals have medicines to heal the sick. That is a death camp, because, there is no medicine for the children. There is no medicine for those dying of Depleted Uranium that America put in bombs. But how could a Muslim hear the sufferings of Iraqi people and not lift his voice. Do we want friendship with America and Britain so much that we would loose the friendship of God?
Well, now Sudan. America is spending billions of dollars putting enemies all around Sudan. Why do you want enemies on the borders of Sudan? Because you are afraid of am Islamist regime, that Islam may spread into the Central and Southern Africa and cut off your play outs in Africa. They have divided Arab and Africa. And that today ..they are drawing a line accross separating Central Africa, Southern Africa from Arab, North Africa and they are making the Arabs in ..Africa the enemy, while we know the bridge, we know what they have done, we see the America, we see what they are doing. But they are making Arabs and Africans the enemy of each other while it was their unity that established Islam in the world. In 1977 the Arabs and the Africans had their first African-Arab Summit meeting in Cairo, Egypt. That was in 1977. And they have never had another summit meeting because the West does not want Arab–African unity. The West does mot want Muslim unity.
So why? If they don’t want, and Allah has ordered, why don’t we obey Allah? And what is the consequence of our disobedience to the Commands of God. Do you think that you will not pay a price for disobeying God when you have the Holy Quran in your hand. Allah says in the Quran, "do you advice others and neglect your own soul while you read the Book. Have you no sense at all?"
We act like a people who have no sense. We have given over our power to the United Nations. Who is the United Nations that they should dictate to us when the Quran has already dictated to the Muslims how Muslims should act? We seat in the United Nations as a weak power. I am talking about the whole Muslim Ummah is a weak force. Inside the United Nations they mock, they laugh at us, they laugh at Egypt, the great citadel of civilization. They have a laughter, they have the whole world laughter. All of us are pawning because we want friendship with the super powers rather than friendship with the only power and that is Allah. But how many of us really believe that Allah is really God, since one thing to say "Ashhadualla ilaha illallah" but there is another thing to believe in, not just stand up on that principle of 'Shahadat’, and that there is no God but Allah. But we are liars and hypocrites because we say, "Yes Allah is God but Clinton calls. Yes Allah is God but we have no money." Who holds the treasures of the heaven and the earth? Does Clinton own them? If Allah is the owner, Why not bow down to Allah then, and seek what you need from Him rather than crawl on knees to the powers of the world begging, then for what you could get for yourself if you were a united Ummah. The Muslim World in my conclusion is weak and degenerated. It pains me as a Muslim to come home to where Islam began and see my family in filth and squalor and disease talking about how great Islam is, but sending your children to Europe and America to learn because we lost the advantage that Islam gave us. You know that I am telling the truth. It hurts me to speak like this. But this is my family and I am a simple man. But I am in love with Islam and I know that Islam is the superpower potentially in the next century. But we got to do something now to make that a reality. Allah is not going to change our condition until we make a change of ourselves. Allah didn’t setup Egypt. Allah didn’t setup Saudi Arabia. Allah didn’t setup Kuwait, United Arab Emirates. Allah didn’t setup Sudan. Allah didn’t setup Morocco, Libya, or all of your national boundaries. That’s your doing. You have got a national constitution. But your constitution should be the Quran if you are a Muslim. There is only one nation. Look, I have to say this. Allah didn’t setup Shiia. Allah didn’t setup Sunni. Allah didn’t setup Hunbali, Hanafi. This is our doing. Till our Muhammad was a Muslim and there was no division among us until after he was gone. Then we setup our religion into sects and parties each one glorying in their little path. And Shaitan is happy today. Because, the Ummah is divided. The Holy Prophet said, "one learned man is harder on Shaitan than thousand ignorant worshippers." We have millions of ignorant worshippers and just a few intellectuals, and most of them are bought and paid for by the West. We have more love for money than we have for Allah. We have more love for the things of this world than even for the thought of the Hereafter. We need to be coming back to Allah.
When I was in Iraq years ago, just prior to the Gulf War, I spoke to seven hundred fifty Ulemas. They were talking about the Holy War. But their Holy War is like this: you can wear Allah like He is some garments; you take Him off when it’s hot, and you put Him on when it’s cold. Allah doesn’t hear your prayers if you are insincere in your expression.
Allah will help you. But you and I have to come back to Him. That is our problem what I have said in Iraq. Our problem is not Israel. Our problem is not America. Our problem is our deviation from the Path of God and the Sunnah of the Prophet. And until and unless we are called back to have real thing. I am not talking about rituals and religions. Because prayer has degenerated into a religion. Some Muslims look at me and say, "Farrakhan, do you make your five daily prayer?" If I tell them, "yes", they say, "oh! That’s good." They say, "do you make Salah or do you make Doa?". If I make Salat, they say, "oh! That is good". Any damn one can do this. Any damn one can say, "Allaho Akbar".
Any damn one can learn how to bow down and put his face on a mat. That is not telling you that you are a real Muslim. Because you are bowing down your physical body, but not bowing your mind down to do the Will of God. Means nothing. Your prayer is empty, unless you are training your mind through bending your body and prostrating your body. Then we must prostrate our mind to the Will of Allah. Then Allah can use us as a battering ram against the forces of evil. But I am a fool, I am fool.
I know that this is a great nation Bangladesh. You are not poor. You are rich. But you lost the key to the vault. The vault is the Quran. And the Quran holds the treasures of the heaven and the earth. But now, where is my key? I forgot the combination. Well, that’s why you are wrecked, you are poor. That’s why people out there picking pockets and interlinked with little cheap thievery and what not .. because Islam is not really being practiced. So I am coming up out of America. But I am not saying that I am a better Muslim than any body else. But brothers, sisters, I refused to bow down. The Jews want me to come on bended knees. They said: "Farrakhan, unless you tell us that you are sorry for what you said, we will make sure that you and your people suffer." I told the Jews: "in order to cut off my Blessings you better get a ladder that reach you to heaven. And since you don’t have that ladder, you can’t cut off my Blessings. I will never bow down to you." The Congress of the United States threatened me. They said, "Farrakhan, you have gone to this rogue nation. We are going to call you before the Congress". I said: "Don’t threat me, do it. Do it." I told my friends: "I don’t need anybody to go with me. Allah is sufficient. I will go to the Congress with my Quran, and beat hell out of everything in them." Because, when you have Allah, you got it all. They talk about us as the minority. How can we be minority in union with God. I am the majority, and so are we.
Thank you all for listening to me. I am all fired out. If I have hurt anybody’s feelings, I hope you will forgive me. That’s not my intention. My intention is to put on your consciousness the fact that we have got to be better than what we are, in order for Allah to give us the benefit of what He promised us. And I pray to Allah in the name of His servant Muhammad (Peace be upon him) for the great nation of Iraq. I pray. I pray that Allah will help us as an Ummah to say to Bill Clinton: "Enough is enough." I am hurrying to go back to America, because I want to make my voice heard inside America that Clinton can not, we can not permit him to do this. And I hope that President Saddam Hussein will not give them the chance to do what they want to do.
But the Iraqi people may have been chosen by Allah to suffer to awaken you sleeping giants. He may have chosen one man Saddam Hussein to defy the powers that you bow down to, to show you that they would rather be dead than to put-up to America crawling and begging. That is something worth dying, and the Quran says, persecution is worse than slaughter. And so the Iraqi people have been dying, and I worn Bill Clinton. I say, "Mr.President, it is not a good thing for you to turn the whole Muslim world against you. The whole Muslim world may not agree with Saddam Hussein, but the Muslim world will become your enemy." May be Allah wants us turn the world and is using Iraq to turn the world opinion against the so called superpowers. I want you to keep your eyes on America as I sit down. I want you to know that God is real. His Power is real. He has kept America as a preserved area for Himself. No bomb has fallen on America, because God wants that for Himself. Just as He used tempest to bring Pharaoh down. He has the same in mind for America. You just keep watching. No outside forces can harm her. Her’s will come from God if she does not bow down. And it is my job to worn her that she is at the end ever though she looks like she will be here forever.
I am telling you, she is on her death bed, but she doesn’t know it, neither do you. But when Allah avenges His commands to pass on America, all of you will bow down. Because, you are bowing down now to that which has no power, but when Allah uses His power on America as He is destined to do, all of us will bow down. Surely in the shock of the hour when you see it is grievous thing, you will see men drunken but they will not be drunken, but the chastisement of Allah will be severe.
May Allah bless you Ambassadors. May Allah bless the scholars, the teachers, the Supreme Court lawyers to be the best Muslims that we can be. And instead of tearing each other down, let’s help each other to be better than what we are, and if we do that then the meals that we are about to enjoy will go down well and it will energize our bodies not for us to live in contravention to Allah, but for us to live better in submission to His will.

Thank you, very much. Assalamualaikum. Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. I know that everyone is hungry. So I am going to make a very quick speech. My dear brothers and sisters of Bangladesh, we are very honored and happy to be in this great country, the second largest Muslim nation on the earth. We have had an enjoyable time even though it was short. I am going to try to make my comments brief but yet to make points that I think I should like to make in the company of such distinguished men and women of knowledge and scholarship. Allah has placed on us as Muslims a responsibility. In many of the Quran that I have read with an English translation, when the second sura of the Quran is introduced with Alif, Lam, Mim, the scholars don’t seem to quite know what these three letters actually mean. They introduced Allah to us in this way :
"I am Allah, the best knower. This book, there is no doubt in it. It is a Guide to those who keep their duty, who fear Allah and shun evil, believe in the unseen and keep up prayer and spend what We have given them, who believe in what was revealed to thee and what was revealed before thee. These are on a right course from their Lord, and these are those who are successful and of the Hereafter they are sure."
Allah being the best knower there is no compatibility with ignorance and Allah. So one cannot claim to be a true servant of Allah and not be a searcher and a seeker after knowledge. The holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) said to us that one is in the path of God when he goes out in search of knowledge and he is in that path until he returns. Meaning, if he thinks that he has found it, he has lost it. Because, in knowledge you will never get to the end of it in the short time that we have on earth. So Allah makes every believer one who loves knowledge, one who seeks knowledge, one who uses knowledge to cultivate the gifts, skills and talents that Allah has put within every human being and uses those gifts, skills and talents for the advancement of self, of family and community and world.
In introducing me brother may have mentioned country of my birth, the United States of America. USA without a doubt is more than likely one of the greatest countries to emerge in the last six thousand years. However, that country more than most countries is in need of Islam. Islam is the only force that can check the decadence of America and ensure that America will not go the way of ancient Egypt, Babylon, and Rome.
President Nixon was impeached and rehabilitated. He wrote a book called "The Real War". And in this book he said, the enemy of democracy is not communism. The real enemy of democracy is fundamentalist Islam. This is Nixon. He said, the Third World War has already begun, and we are loosing. So he set in motion through his own Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and others a force that to this very moment is opposed to the development and spread of Islam in the world. If Islam is the enemy of democracy and Allah says in the Quran that He it is who sent His Messenger with Guidance and the true religion that He may make it to overcome the religions, all of them, though the polities may be adverse, then Allah Himself has ordered that Islam will become universally known, universally accepted.
Then if America and her president sees Islam as an enemy and opposes Islam, then they are not just in opposition to Islam, they are in opposition to the will of Allah, and nothing and no one can oppose God and win.
So if you look now at the policies of my government to Islamic nations, every president since Nixon and Ford has had a run in with some member of the Islamic world. Under Carter there was a run in with Iran, under Bush Iraq, Iran, now Sudan, Libya, Reagan and Libya, Bush and Libya, Bush and Iraq. And it doesn’t stop. Every Muslim country that seems to get strong Militarily, there is a policy, even known or unknown, to destabilize that regime. Every Muslin country that has wealth, there is a secret policy to undermine and take away the wealth of the wealthy moderate state and the military potential of those Muslims who have some military potential. Pakistan is trying to develop a nuclear device. What’s wrong with that? India has nuclear weapons. China has nuclear weapons. Why not Pakistan? Israel has nuclear weapons and weapons of mass destruction. So, if you want to take the teeth out of Saddam Hussain, why not take the teeth out of Israel and, then start disarming the whole area.
But there is unwritten story. There is my brother from Iraq. I had a talk with a highly placed member of the Saudi Government. And when Imam Khomeni came to power and said words that seem to threat the Gulf area and the Saudi, the Saudis gave, according to this highly placed source, 80 billion dollars to Iraq, to build Iraq into a military bulwark against, what they thought was, Iranian expansionism. Who benefited from this 80 billion dollars? The Americans sold weapons to Saddam Hussain. The British sold weapons. The French built an atomic reactor for our brother. The Russians, all of them benefited from this 80 billion dollars. So if our brother has any weapons of mass destruction, they know it, they sold him the weapons and probably helped them with the technology as long as he would use it against Iran. Because America doesn’t care if two Muslim states fight each other and cancel each other out. That’s better for Israel. So, after the war was over, Iran was weakened. But Iraq still had strength. So the aim of America was to get Iraq into a problem. That they could Weaken Iraq as a potential military power not only for yesterday but on into the next century. They want no threat to Israel. And instead of tearing each other down, let’s help each other to be better than what we are, and if we do that then the meals that we are about to enjoy will go down well and it will energize our bodies not for us to live in contravention to Allah, but for us to live better in submission to His will.

And thank Allah for brother Shamsul Amin for meeting me in Moscow and telling me "you must come to Bangladesh." And we heard him and in his plea we heard Allah, and we came. Even though our stay is short, but it doesn’t matter the word. The word is sufficient. Ali Baghdadi, where is my brother Ali? Please come. This is our Middle Eastern Correspondent for Qods. Ali raised a question to me the other day. He said: "Brother, Clinton came to Africa with millions of dollars in his hand. You came to Africa with words." And I said to the brother: "They said to the Holy Prophet: if you are from Allah, why did not He send down treasures with you?" But the treasures that Allah sent down with him was "Words". And the wealth that the people were looking for that day have all perished. But the "Words" still remains. With what did I come to Africa and Bangladesh - a word as reminder to you - what you already know, you already believe. Come on family, let’s come together, and let’s be real Muslims, and become the superpower for God’s glory and for rise of humanity in the next century. Thank you Ali, and thank you brothers and sisters.
I pray that the Islamic leaders will be willing conducive for this world. Because sometime it is our own Islamic leaders and their divisions and their envy and their enmity that is holding back the people from the rise that the people would want. I’ll come back Insha–Allah. But in the meantime, I hope that these words will stay with you. And I pray that Allah will Bless these words to enter the hearts that we may rise up and do what Allah has ordered us to do.
